Although I mainly mention fairies, it really includes any folklore/myth creature/entity, and other made up ones. Aliens included since some haunted forests have been said to have aliens, and it is different dimensions that are connected. The different dimensions are either parallel to each other in certain places, nearly perfectly mirror each other, or completely different, which also leads to other planets far beyond earth. There's almost endless amounts of different dimensions, and even small things in certain ones can spawn new ones.
There's both fantasy and sci-fi elements in these.
It's mainly centered around the fairy princess Ciel and the fae world.
This is still a work in progress so in time I'll add more lore and more worlds.

Fae History:
Thousands of years prior to their current state, their entire world was divided into countless of small tribes and villages of different creatures, all eventually breaking out into many years of battle and war.
And eventually it lead to the River of Life drying up and ceasing it's flow, leading to a deadly drought that wiped out the majority of life on land.
Eventually for the sake of survival, the creatures banded together in states in an effort to keep alive while finding a solution.
When the River of Life was brought back after years of their cooperation, several kingdoms were set up, living in unity and peace, with the Celestial Forest being the dominant power.
Though fairies hold the most, and largest organized nations, many other supernatural entities live alongside them or on their own in between. No war has broken out since, but small fights between villages and tribes occasionally start.
Because of the value of water that they hold as the source of life, it is illegal to sell fresh water, as they see it as the right of every living being to obtain it without the need of trade.

The Celestial Forest is the heart of their world, a dimension parallel to the real world. Within the dimension there are weak spots and gaps that can sometimes allow travel between both worlds, leading to creatures of folklore running into contact with humans.
At the center of the forest there is a massive structure, the Tree of Life, where the fae royal family reside and lead the gateway to the City in the Clouds.
From that location the River of Life originates, the largest fresh water body that runs into every surrounding kingdom like a vein that pumps life throughout their world.
The enchanted forest is lively with several forms of plant life and wildlife, containing different herbs, colorful wild flowers, and magical properties. Many creeks, ponds, and waterfalls are spread throughout. Many unicorns reside there.
A common creature is the fuzzy lizards that nap in the trees, and dragon-like lizards.
In deeper forests, caves, and surrounding islands in large ocean-like lakes, are dragons, massive snakes, and slugs of all shapes and sizes.
Sasquatch of different personalities, friendly to killer, lurk in the forests.
In some deep forests, bioluminescent creatures and plants live.
There are mystical hot springs said to heal nearly all ailments, guarded by fae and mermaids, who also create potions.
Although there are many old fashioned places, they have more modern ones, such as hospitals, stores, banks, shopping plazas.
There are large libraries full of books and scrolls of spells, history, instructions on craft, and many more.
The City of Clouds is responsible for spreading clouds across their world to bring fresh water to the lands. Many pegasus reside there.
Many elf tribes live in harmony among the land.
Among the goods they offer are rare fruits, vegetables, plants and herbs, meats and animal skins of their territory, wood, magic stones, sewn and crafted items of their culture, and other spiritual objects.

To the north, the fae kingdom of Snowfall resides. Quite a travel away, they often trade items and goods to keep each other thriving.
Snowfall is protected by harsh never ending blizzards and storms surrounding their kingdom, while at the center where the fae live is clear and gentle snowy weather. Many enjoy playing in the snow valleys. Beautiful auroras paint the sky.
The fairy gatekeepers allow visitors to safely enter their land without going through the storms. Though friendly, they are more shut off than their neighbors, preferring to avoid potential enemy invasions than be welcoming to all.
Within their protective storms other winter and snow monsters roam, a magic barrier keeping them from entering and terrorising the citizens, thus also serving as added protection.
Many monsters lurk within the blizzards, caves, and mountains. The largest most dangerous mountain, appropriately named Wendigo Mountain, for the creatures that are cursed to remain, is also serving as a gap in their dimension that leads to the human world. Many Yeti lurk in the hills and forests.
Many ice dragons and creatures live in caves. There are icy catacombs filled with cursed items and macabre frozen solid carcasses.
Among the goods they offer are magic stones, meats and furs of native animals, sewn and crafted items of their culture, and other spiritual objects.

Further south is the Land of Flame, a volcanic land surrounded by magma and fields of fire. It is less one unified kingdom and more of several seperate small villages and tribes of different species that live in their own sections.
Disputes over territory often occur.
Many dragons reside near the volcanoes.
There is a steampunk city and mining area, with a similar style castle floating beside the edge.
They don't enjoy trading but resort to it for the foods and items they cannot create themselves, offering rare minerals they have mined.

Further down the land meets a misty, dangerous sea, the Lost Seas. Several hidden threats remain around the beach and woods, both plants and other entities.
Very few residents are willing to trade if ever seen, and if so they often request risky trades and deals in exchange for the hidden and rare objects they collect.
There are pirate ships docked there, with a variety of collected, and often cursed treasures.
Within the sea itself the dangers multiply, countless deadly entities and monsters thrive within the waters, ranging in intelligence and malice. Sea monsters and storms often wipe out travelers, any that survive the destruction of a ship face worse creatures, such as beasts that resemble sharks, krakens, and malicious flesh eating mermaid creatures.
Past the brutal waters lie a land of pure darkness, the Final Territory, the most potent of evils silently residing. From afar it is only seen as a large pitch black spot of land and sky. Anyone who has made it past the sea to this location have never returned.

To the south of the Celestial Forest are several more tribes of different relatively peaceful creatures that reside within plains and swamps, though less friendly and accepting.
They too can occasionally offer to trade mystic properties of their lands.
To the west of the Celestial Forest, a large section of fruitful land and plains reside, the Harvest Plains. Like the Land of Flame, several tribes live side by side, although these relations are friendlier. Their lands are perfect for year round harvest.
There are castles, bridges, and farms full of many creatures.
There are also lively fairgrounds full of fun games and activities.
They offer plentiful amounts of fruits, vegetables, cattle, herbs, and sewn and crafted items for trade.

Further west beneath the Harvest Plains reside the Desert of the Lost, an Egyptian-like land of harsh sun scorched endless seas of sand.
Though a wasteland at first sight, both wildlife and plant life have evolved to thrive in its condition.
The intense weather and sandstorms aid the fae kingdom within as protection, a nation of buildings, temples, pyramids, and workers that have adapted to living under such conditions.
The River of Life that flows through the land is responsible for their immediate survival. Their living nation is hidden behind a fallen kingdom, a once great civilization brought to it's ruin during the times when the River was cut off from the world.
There are many libraries in the kingdom, and there is said to be one hidden one somewhere in the desert that carry some of the most ancient books and scrolls.
Looters who attempt to retrieve items from the ruins often meet their ends by curses and traps that have been left behind. Further west, the desert meets an ocean that fisherman often go to, the Great Sea.
Along the sea, there is pre-historic and African style lands. Dragons and dinosaur-like creatures roam in the plains and jungles, and the fairies set up their own villages and temples. Deep within some jungles lie cursed Aztec-like pyramids. There are hidden caves filled with more threats and rare items.
The items they offer for trade include rare desert vegetation, cattle, sea life caught, and other mystic objects.

South of the Desert of the Lost right beside the Lost Seas, lies the Cursed Forest.
Dark fairies inhabit and thrive within the lands with no nation, only seperate tribes between sections of dangerous swamps, woods, and worn buildings plagued with malicious spirits that mutated the land, wildlife, and plant life. There are many dark castles, mansions, and towers scattered about.
There is a section called the Haunted Carnival, where at first sight, a seemingly empty old fairground resides. It is in fact full of malicious spirits, that tempt and trick travelers into playing their games, requesting steep, and deadly bets. The house of mirrors is said to be especially terrifying.
The River of Life runs into several murky lakes within it where the dark creatures taint it's purity by inhabiting it. The sun never shines, it is as if it is constant night. The dark fairies rarely trade with others.
Among the objects they can offer are cursed items, rare vegetation, poisons, venoms, and other magic items that can be used for dark rituals and potions.
Past the Cursed Forest resides haunted towns and buildings that are parallel to the human world where many gaps between the dimensions exist. There are many abandoned buildings, like insane asylums, where malicious entities feed off the suffering of humans, where they can gain access to in spots of great death and negative emotions. Even when the humans have long died, the entities remain within the gaps, waiting for more victims.
Even deeper within that parallel dimension exists another, although this one contains a more horrific and hellish alternate reality, with vile monsters born from evil and suffering. It has a connection to the Realm of Dreams, gaining imagery from nightmarish psyches, yet also being a hell all on its own.
It is speculated to have a connection to the Final Territory.

East to the Celestial Forest, the woods meet a peaceful, beautiful beach, the Enchanted Seashore. The sand is pure white and the water is clear where life flourish. Surrounding the beaches, small peaceful villages lie, harvesting vegetation and fishing within the Enchanted Ocean.
Among the items they offer for trade are sea life, native vegetation, sea shells and items, other mystic properties taken from the beaches and water, and sewn and crafted items of their culture.
Further East of the Enchanted Seashore and Enchanted Ocean, islands are scattered about in varying sizes.
Like the villages of the Enchanted Seashore, friendly natives of the Tropical Islands live within the sands of varying colors, clear waters, and forests.
Further East, the islands become darker, the clear sunny skies shrouded by fog. Fairy kind inhabit most of the lands while other creatures coexist peacefully, although more dangerous, malicious entities reside in the Foggy Islands. There are many hidden caves that lead into other dimensions.
There are hidden and floating islands that wander place to place, difficult to find due to being masked by fog.
Among the items they offer for trade are sea life, sea items, local vegetation and animals, other mystic items native to their islands, sewn and crafted items of their culture, and even treasure maps, but under special circumstances.
East north of the Tropical Islands and Foggy Islands, a large section of earth lies, size rivaling the Celestial Forest and it's neighbouring kingdoms.
The weather ranges from sunny, humid, cool, chilly, and snowy, from South to North, and more islands around the coast of the Kingdom of Shigan.
Clouds from the Celestial Forest reach and replenish it's fresh water sources as it does all around the world. The inhabitants range from friendly to territorial and confrontational.
There are small villages scattered about, and larger castles and temples, including floating mountains that have the same. They have one of the most ancient libraries in the fae worlds.
Many oni roam, either murderous or gifting good fortune.
Shinigami also lurk, picking out victims where they see fit.
There are also kappa living in some rivers and ponds.
Among the items they offer for trade are native vegetation, meats, furs, cattle, sea and river life, fine textiles, silk, sewn and crafted items of their cultures.
Between the Enchanted Ocean and the Tropical Islands, somewhere within the seemingly endless seas, lie the underwater kingdom of Atlantia.
Initially the kingdom thrived and advanced in technology before it's fall by unknown means. Though it's ruins remain, not far did a new kingdom start to grow.
Both sea fae and benevolent mermaids make up the majority of the kingdom's citizens.
Surrounding Atlantia, deep dark sections of the ocean open up, supposedly leading to the bottom of the sea. No one has never made it deep enough to reach the depths end or ever came back from doing so.
There are hidden caves that contain air pockets, breathable sections not consumed by water.
Although difficult to find, the natives offer sea life, sea vegetation, rare ocean and native objects, and other mystic properties only found in Atlantia.

The Sugar Kingdom is a large dimension entirely made up of edible items.
The mainland insists of dessert landscape, residents, and creatures made of sweets. There are many sights spread around, from chocolate and soda rivers and waterfalls, peanut brittle and hard candy roads, chocolate powder sand and dirt, yogurt mud, lollipop trees, massive mints and other hard candies and gumdrops used for building, gingerbread houses, caramel pits, mountains of chocolate and ice cream and cake and wafer cookies, hot chocolate
and coffee hot springs, donut and cupcake and cheesecake hills, cotton candy and whipped cream clouds, large castles of desserts, waffle and pancake buildings, syrup pits and rivers, and much more.
Surrounding the mainland are other edible lands, some with more savory items as meat and potato hills and mountains, bacon roads, corned beef hash hills, sandwich boulders, and many more.
There are many fae of foods that reside there, creating and consuming items in their land to keep balance. Common livestock include cotton candy sheep, egg tart chickens, cheesecake goats, and chocolate cows.
Chocolate crocodiles and gummy sharks lurk through some rivers and seas.
Among the items they offer for trade are a variety of foods, edible tools, livestock, special ingredients, books, and scrolls.
The Dream World/Realm of Dreams can either be a peaceful, dreamy dimension, or a nightmarish realm of horror. There are natural sections to the dream realm, and many realms within born from the dreams of others. Individuals' passions, fears, and subconscious play a part in creating different lands there.
It is used by those knowledgeable to explore shattered psyches, and discover things about themselves.
By most, it is accidentally entered during sleep.
The Dream World influences some parallel dimensions within the Cursed Forest.

These planets are in an opposite dimension from the fae kingdoms, where human, humanoid, and other aliens reside, but lead to each other through small dimensional gaps.
Pax:
Pax is the planet where Gavin 05 was created. Its natural habitat includes thick forests, plains, rivers, and an ocean not unlike earth, although a majority of the landscape has been torn down to build colonies. Deep within an isolated island miles from the mainland, Erevna Island, the Kindred Corps has set up research facilities, for both building advanced technology, and classified human alien experimentation.
This planet has 2 small moons. One contains lush forests, while the other is mostly rock, where several mining sections are built to collect minerals. Each has a station set up, and another in orbit.
Nero:
Nero is the closest neighbor to Pax, this planet consisting of 90% water, with only islands and isles spread across its surface between the oceans. Some of the islands contained ruins of some previous alien empire that has long since passed.
Few colonies are set up within the islands and few more have been built within the middle of the ocean, facilities and living quarters the size of Australia.
The waters are full of dangerous sea life, including large whales, megalodon-like sharks, and dinosaur-like aquatic creatures.
This planet has 3 large moons. 3 space stations are in orbit.
Kiimos:
Kiimos is another planet full of colonies and civilization, large buildings spread across various cities. More famous manufacturer's goods are produced here on the planet before distributing. It's as if one large city spanning across it due to the deforestation. One of the most popular brand of party bars is Planet MJ, several of these establishments found in every section. It has 4 moons, and several space stations in orbit.
